As a Design Researcher, working on Bing and part of the AI & Research Division, you will help us understand how to deliver search experiences that are increasingly more intelligent. Your work will be both strategic and tactical, with a strong emphasis on being creative and agile. You will form close partnerships with designers, engineers and MS researchers to bring-to-life ideas and stimulate innovation.
Deeply understand how and why people Search and the impact of AI and intelligent services
Deeply understand the industry, with a good perspective on new opportunities
Strategic, yet applied thinking
Agile and creative, thriving in a fast-paced environment
Self-starting with natural ability to identify what’s next
5+ years’ experience working as a UX researcher
Experience with a wide range of research methodologies; qual and quant
Strong track record of integrating secondary and primary research
Excellent presentation skills that influence across disciplines and at the exec level
Experience with web services, mobile apps, chat bots, agents and intelligent services
MA/MS or Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, or Social Science related fields
